Stop Dropping the F-Bomb
The dreaded word you never want to say in front of your boss.
The word you would hate to hear come from your child’s mouth.
No, we aren’t talking about the actual F-bomb.
Although this word can be seen as just as dirty, if not worse.
This word is thrown around carelessly in our daily lives, so much, people forget the impact that it carries — not only in the way people perceive us, but in the way we perceive ourselves.
We’re talking about failure.
It can be devastating when you don’t get the outcome you envisioned for your business — or even your personal goals — but that doesn’t mean it’s the end.

Failure only comes from giving up
Think of an artist.
No one has picked up a paint brush for the first time and created a museum-worthy masterpiece.
It takes practice, trial and error, researching new techniques — just like your business.
Mistakes are bound to happen when starting something new, but we would never succeed at anything in life if we gave up every time something didn’t work.

Learn from your failed attempts
Instead, he learned what didn’t work the first time around, so he could approach his next business more strategically.
When everything seems to be going wrong, look at what you are doing. What could you try differently? Use these times to get creative and experiment.

Failure is a mindset
Your mindset plays a big factor in whether or not you will succeed.
If you are constantly telling yourself you won’t succeed, or it’s too hard, you are just validating your feelings of wanting to give up.
Impostor syndrome can easily pull you in, if you aren’t careful and learn how to overcome those negative thoughts.
Try to limit your use of the word “fail” in your day to day life. Nothing is truly a fail, until you let it be.
Instead of saying you’ve failed, try voicing what you learned during that experience. See how your mindset changes over time.
Tell yourself you tried! That is a success in itself, because some won’t even do that.
